sadly, between my daughter's shorter (about 2" below the shoulder) and her bangs, we were unable to pull this one off... though I think some of it may have been a wiggly 5-yr old excited about going to school tomorrow.

Fortunately, she was okay with it and let me put the heart braid in.... that one's great for hair that doesn't have the length.

My sister-in-law just sent me the site. I love it! Thanks for all the new ideas. I never would have thought of SEWING my daughter's hair. I put in a heart braid this morning and she was so tickled she said she wanted it again tomorrow for church and again on Monday for school.

Our family of four, most of her hairstyles can easily be adapted for shorter hair. My little girl is almost 2 & I have been doing her hair since she was 6 months old, lol. I just adapted them to the top of her head most of the time.
