I just found your blog and I love it! As the mother of 2 little girls who are tired of a ponytail, I'll try some of your ideas soon. Meghan, I would say it would probably be easier to go behind the bangs. I have a hard time french braiding shorter hair because I always get little hairs popping out all over the braid. But, if you can get it to work with the bangs, more power to you!

I love the braided headband look, but my daughter has bangs. Would you recommend trying to braid the bangs into the braid or just going behind them?
