How To Make Your Own Bows And Flowers

I recently stumbled upon the most amazing blog with tons of tutorials showing how to make flowers, bows, headbands, and other hair accessories. I just have to share this with you guys! The blog is called Fabric Bows And More and I'm warning you, if you click over.... you may be there for a few hours! :)

I mean, how cute are these homemade fabric flowers? I love the scalloped edges. These would make even a bad hair day look good. ;) You can find the tutorial to make these by clicking here: Scalloped Fabric Bows.

And this Fabric Ribbon Bow is adorable! I know my daughter would love that jewel in the center.

ribbon flowerSeriously, my head was spinning with all of the different possibilities while looking through this blog. Did you know you could make a flower out of burlap? Neither did I. If you're crafty and looking for something to do with your girls this summer, this could definitely keep you busy! I have never seen so many different types of hair pretties in one place. I also heard they are having a giveaway soon for some gift certificates for ribbon and other supplies, so be sure to become a follower while you're there so you don't miss out.

  6. I probably COULD make these, but my "free" time is booked up. I will definitely let my daughters make some though. They already do crocheted ones:)
