5 Minute Hairstyle

quick hairstyle for girls Need to be out the door in 5 minutes? This one's for you! (And literally, we had 5 minutes to do this one, so don't mind the crooked parts and frizzies. :)

Part out a box on top of her head and split it in half diagonally. Put the half towards the back of her head in an elastic.
Split the front section in two and tie a knot like you are starting to tie a shoe.Bring both ends back to the elastic and secure with another elastic over the same spot.Add a cute bow. This one came from Kayte Bug Boutique.
five minute hairstyle for little girls The rest of her hair was wavy from a French Braid the day before. We didn't even touch it.

I'm guessing this hairstyle would work for short hair as well!

  2. LOL- Okay I do this one in my hair ALLLLLL the time. I don't do it angles or in front, but in back--- and it is quick and cute and I love it--- and you just used it on a little girl--- I think I need to grow up and stop doing my hair like a little girl.

  4. Let me just say I am absolutely in love with your blog. I've been stalking it for a while and this is my first time commenting. Anyway, my daughter's hair is not just short but super fine, thin and all sorts of lengths. This one I could do on her. Also, I make all my girl's bows. I would really like to make a bow for your daughter and all that gorgeous hair. I've wanted to for a while. Would you please email me and you can let me know what colors you don't have or would like? I would imagine she has a swell collection. Anyway, thanks for doing this blog and sharing your talent with us moms out there.

  9. This is my new favorite! I am such an amateur--my poor daughter. I can't even french braid her hair, so sad! BUT I can do this!!! She has been wearing her hair like this all week long because it's the only thing I can do! Plus, she won't let me do anything that takes more than 5 minutes! Thanks!!!

  11. I really do love this little hairstyle. It looks so easy to do but looks so pretty! My darling princess is still getting hair on her little bald head, so it may be years before I'm able to do this one, but trust me. . . I will someday! Your blog gives me great ideas and is so fun.
