My 6 year old have enough hair for at least 3 kids to have plenty each. She loves it that way too.
It was my husband's idea to do it with a "K", less common.
My second daughter is well on her way to having tons. Hers is really long but still on the thin side.

My daughter has this little Barbie princess digital camera.
I've used it the last few days to ATTEMPT to get shots of a couple cute hair dos.
I'm going to my nephews soccer game this afternoon. This is the first day in a LONG time that the high hasn't been 100 degrees!

It doesn't take the best shots, as you can imagine, but they aren't as bad as one might think.
I am doing my daughters hair while I can, she is on her way to being a tom-boy.

Doing my daughters hair and cooking are like therapy to me.
My hubby had no hair till he was 2, and I had really thick hair, so she has a combination of both of us. As it grows in more, it's getting thicker and thicker, and now my hubby has thick hair.

I have tried many of these hairstyles. It is so fun. I am always checking for new ones.

I have lots of favorites, I love the corkscrew braids, weaving, and the climbers.
Also, there's one called twist and weave, I haven't tried it yet because it looks hard. But it looks so awesome.
The heart one is really cute. My nieces LOVE when I use these styles on their hair. Seriously, they feel like such little princesses afterwards!
My daughter keeps asking me to try the heart. I need to get some ribbon to put through it and then I will try it.
As a 1st grade teacher my students used to come to school with their hair down (with little hair accessories) so that I would do their hair. It's fun to have a daughter of my own now. :)

We have three--1 girl, 2 boys, and we can't wait to have more. Our last was a home birth after two prior cesareans. It totally ROCKED!!!! Wish I had stayed home with all of my children. Of course, I'm considered "advanced maternal age" so we're gonna have to get busy. Hubby said after he finishes his dissertation we should get busy. Heehee!
